What do you preach at your last normal sermon in placement? Yep I'm finishing up in the Burdekin. Hopefully someone else will keep this going in the new year. You might eventually be able to find my sermons via a Redcliffe Uniting Church website. But here it is, the gospel. What else could I preach! There will be one last sermon - Christmas!

As Ministers we are warned not to try to be all things to all people, yet St. Paul thought there was a place for this. In terms of ministerial health and churches looking after their ministers, where does, 'all things to all people' fit?

Grief is one of the things we experience when we go through major transitioning. Preached in the context of changing ministers, it is also helpful in the context of loss.

Hi all, so much for my efforts to keep things up to date. Forgot to record this sermon, lost my ipod, don't start! But here it is now. These are some very important, powerful and poignant messages for transitioning from one pastor to another. Food for thought and challenge.

In November we began a new topic - transitioning. Moving from one ministry leader to another. I think this is very important stuff, and these are perhaps the most important sermons to listen to this year. If you missed these, download and get a load of them. How can we best transition between Paul and Greg? Nov 6th Ayr.

This Sermon was brought by Naomi Edwards. It involved making large black chains to cover a red heart which was chained up. It was a powerful image, I hope it comes across on the recording. Preached in Ayr 9 Oct.

John Mackay brought a message on our freedom to choose. This is always a big topic and John muses over it in this message.

Hi All, I'm sitting down to get this web site up to date! Because I was away for a few weeks it's fallen behind. Most of these should be in order. This one is Bruce Cornish [my boss!] preaching on Perfectionism, of which he confesses he suffers from.

The need to be in control is a common human failing, where we can 'control' the life out of a relationship, a team, an event, ourselves. Where does this need come from, and how do we overcome it? Consider this powerful sermon preached by Paul Clark in Ayr on 18th Sept.
